Plans for 2012

This year could quite possibly be the craziest year of my life, in a good way.

As it stands, there are a lot of uncertainties about this year: a possible trip back to Hollywood to actually be a part of something, the possibility for a year of international travel starting this upcoming September, a possible commitment to post-graduate work, among other things.

Then, there are certainties: major milestones for my older sisters (I’m the “baby” girl), graduation, a trip to Montreal (which will be documented here!), a definite trip back to L.A., among other life events.

It’s been a chaotic year so far, and it will continue to be. To make it even more chaotic, I decided to finally get my book going. As a kid, I wrote for fun. As I got older, I experimented with different means of story telling (namely film and digital art). Now that I’m in my early 20s, it’s time to go back to the basics: writing. After the internet craze started to really build up, I decided to leave the world of web design, html, and being ahead of the virtual game for a return to what I started with.

It’s a tiny screen-shot, but it’s proof; even more importantly, it’s evidence. Not to anyone else, but to myself – that this project has been long overdue, and now that the ideas are all finally coming together, it’s time to do this.

It took me a long time to get here, but it’s been worth it. I can promise one thing: this book is all about adventure. Stay tuned.
